A representative from Missouri River Energy Services spoke to more than 100 people this morning at Pella Golf and Country Club about the new hydroelectric facility. Bill Radio answered questions on a range of topics from how long T-15 over the Dam will be closed, which can’t be determined at this time, to how much of the plant’s power will come to Pella; about seven percent. Overall cost of the project is expected to be about $220 million dollars, which will be financed by issuing bonds to the electric utilities that make up Missouri River Energy Service’s customer base.
