Earlier this week, we asked our friends on facebook what questions they had concerning the new hydroelectric facility. KNIA/KRLS News spoke with Bill Radio of Missouri River Energy Services to address a few of those questions.
The project is an investment for Missouri River, and will total about $220 million dollars, to be financed by the sale of bonds to the 60+ members of Missouri River’s Coop.
During construction, Highway T-15 over the dam will be closed at various times, as construction demands.
Power produced at the facility will be sold by Missouri River to various electric utilities in the region.
