PCM Puts Up Another Rout, Shreds Colfax-Mingo 57-7

PCM moved their record to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in Class 2A District 8 play Friday night with a 57-7 win over Colfax-Mingo in Monroe in a game heard on

The Mustangs used a balance of run and pass to run out to a 28-0 lead after one quarter of play, and quarterback Joel Wiggins lead the offense with 5 total touchdowns – two rushing and three passing – including two touchdown passes to tight end Jordan Van Roekel.

The game was played with a running clock the entire 2nd half after PCM took a 42-7 lead into intermission. Colfax-Mingo actually held possession of the ball the entire 3rd quarter on a 17-play drive that ended with a Bo Clymer interception of a Mitch Larson pass in the end zone.
