The Pella Christian volleyball team continues to rip their way through the Little Hawkeye Conference, as they swept Newton 3-0 Tuesday night in Pella.  The Lady Eagles were challenged by the Cardinals on their way to a 25-20 win the in the opening set, but controlled the second game 25-16 before closing the door with a 25-19 win in game three.  

Sarah Faber put together an all-around performance for Pella Christian, recording seven kills, eleven assists, ten digs and two blocks.  Jenna Horstman led the Lady Eagles in kills with 13, and Lauren Jungling had a team-high 14 assists and five aces from behind the service line.  

The win pushes the sixth-ranked Lady Eagles to 19-3 overall and 5-0 in the conference, with a chance to claim the league crown on Tuesday when they face Oskaloosa.
