The Pella City Council will hold a public hearing on the sale of the City’s interest in the Walter Scott Energy Center next month. If approved, the sale would allow the City to retire its electric utility debt. City Administrator Mike Nardini says if the measure passes, the City’s overall debt would be reduced from $21 million to just over $9 million.
