There appeared to be little home court advantage for the Pella volleyball team Thursday night, as the Lady Dutch were shut out 3-0 by Centerville. Pella kept themselves within striking distance in each of the first two games, falling 25-19 and 25-22, but the Big Red pulled away for a 25-15 win in game three.

Anna Van Roekel led Pella in kills, with seven. Morgan Ernst had a team-high 14 assists; Katie Sunderman was 12-of-13 serving with four aces, and Kim Korver led the Lady Dutch in digs, with ten.

The loss drops Pella to 2-14 overall. They’ll have a over a week off before their next action, October 1st in Newton.
