The Pleasantville Trojans opened up Class 1A District 7 play Friday night, and once again swallowed another tough loss; this time from Panorama of Panora 47-0. It has been the second time this season the Trojans have been shutout. The Panthers opened up the scoring with a 55-yard touchdown run, and the scores just kept coming from there.

The woes also continued for Pleasantville,as they were without their starting fullback Kendel Clark – who was sidelined by strep throat – while a number of other athletes were weakened by injury or illness as well.

The Trojans also still had chances to put some points on the board with a fumble recovery that sparked the Trojan offense, and a kickoff return that D.J. Weaver that was caught deep inside their own territory and returned inside the Panther 45 yard line.
