Local School Board elections are today. Running for the Pella School Board seat currently held by Marv Van Wyk is Timothy Tripp. He says his main goal in serving on the Board is to continue the positive record of achievement Pella has always had. Polls are open from noon to 8 pm today at Legion Hall for voters in the district, Summit Township voters will cast ballots at the Otley Reformed Church, while Mahaska County voters’ polling place is Leighton Christian Reformed Church. Here’s information on elections for Lynnville-Sully and PCM.

In Knoxville, you can vote at the Knoxville Schools Administration Building from 7am-8pm. Four candidates (Mike Helle, Tim McDonald, Leslie Miller, and Debbie Wallace) are running for three positions.

In Melcher-Dallas, polls will be open from noon-8pm at the Melcher-Dallas Community Center.

In Pleasantville, voters should go to the Pleasantville Memorial Building. Polls are open from 7am-8pm.

In the Twin Cedars District, polls will be open at the Twin Cedars Elementary School from noon-8pm.
