The city of Pella has an Interim Police Chief. Lieutenant David Beukelman is taking over those duties until a replacement can be found for Micheal Marcinkowski who retired September 1st. Beukelman says Marcinkowski did a good job of training the officers in the department, and he expects this transition process to go smoothly until a new Chief is named.
