VA Campus Developer James Washington explained the timetable for near future at the most recent meeting of the Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance Community Support Team. Washington says that after the development plan is submitted on September 28, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs will review it. Then the Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance and the VA will go into a negotiation phase to figure out final details of the lease. Washington says the lease will probably be signed sometime in December.
