The Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance Community Support Team met for what was their final meeting for a while earlier this week. VA Campus Developer James Washington thanked everyone for their help and support, saying that without the Community Support Team, creating the development plan would have been an intimidating task. The Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance will submit their full development plan to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs by Wednesday. The VA will then review it and negotiate with the Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance. Washington expects to sign the lease sometime in December.
