Young Line-up Overpowered as Central Women’s Tennis is Swept by Grinnell

Missing their No. 2 and No. 3 singles players, the Central College women’s tennis team struggled to keep up with a talented Grinnell team Tuesday, suffering a 9-0 defeat. The new line-up featured four freshmen, and Grinnell quickly took advantage of the inexperience.

Central slips to 2-4 overall this season, and will host Iowa Conference opponent Wartburg in Pella Saturday morning.
