Many cities are holding beggar’s nights Monday around the county. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada reminds parents that the safest thing for your child to do is wear bright clothing. If they do have a dark costume, it’s preferred that they have some sort of reflector on them so they can be seen. He asks motorists slow down Monday night and be constantly aware. Beggar’s night in Knoxville, Pella, and Pleasantville is from 6-8pm Monday. In Bussey, it’s from 5-7:30pm.
