Work on the windmill at Brinkhoff Park is nearing completion. A new base has been poured, and crews will soon begin the outer stone work on that portion. Pella Administrative Services Director Jenny Hesseltine says a small but dedicated group of volunteers have nearly got the upper portion of the windmill finished. She says the area in the park where the new mill will sit will get some new landscaping as well, adding the project is on schedule to be completed in the next two weeks.
