Central College was unable to accelerate its momentum from an opening set win, suffering a 21-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-22 volleyball setback to Wartburg College Tuesday night.

In the loss, senior libero Chelsea Grieger of Pella racked up a match-best 30 digs. It was the eighth time in what has been a record-breaking year for Grieger that she hit the 30-dig plateau.

Central finishes the regular season with a 22-10 overall record and a 4-4 mark against Iowa Conference opponents. The Dutch are guaranteed a spot in the six-team league tournament, which begins on November 1st.
