The City of Knoxville now has an opening on the Planning and Zoning Commission. The new person will replace current member Brandon Hoch for the rest of his term, which is scheduled to expire in May of 2013. Zoning Administrator Cindy Glick says that the commission reviews site plans for new residential, industrial, and commercial development. It also reviews rezoning requests and city code, making recommendations to the City Council. Due to recent gender equality laws the position needs to be filled by a female if possible. Contact City Hall for more information at 828-0550.
