With harvest season starting up in Iowa, Marion County Sheriff Ron Goemaat is reminding drivers to be patient with farm equipment on the road. Goemaat says that most farmers will get to the shoulder of the road when they’re able too, but road signs and bridges sometimes force them to creep into the other lane. He says it’s important for everyone to use extra caution when meeting and overtaking farm machinery this time of year.
