Greg Heartsill, a Republican from rural Columbia, will announce his candidacy for the new Iowa House District 28 Monday morning. A statement released by his campaign today says that he will announce at 9am Monday on the southeast lawn of the Marion County Courthouse. Heartsill will make a brief speech and then answer questions from the media.
