Three individuals and one team will join the Knoxville High School Hall of Fame this January. The committee announced the class of 2012 yesterday and individuals going in are Bob Edwards who won the 1947 State Indoor Pole Vault Championship. Also going in will is Dave Capitani who was named first-team all-state in baseball as a senior, playing in the outfield. He was also a state place winner in wrestling, and was a first team all-conference quarterback for the Panther football team. Wrestler Joe Glissman who won the 112 pound championship will be inducted, as will the 1980 state championship cross country team coached by Greg Stults. Inductions will be Friday January 27th in between the girls and boys basketball games with Grinnell.
