Knoxville Hospital & Clinics has become the first Critical Access Hospital in Iowa to receive accreditation from DNV Healthcare. The accreditation allows Knoxville Hospital & Clinics to receive reimbursement for its patients being covered by Medicare and Medicaid. CEO Kevin Kincaid says that the DNV program helps the hospital find opportunities to improve every day and ensures safe, effective healthcare services for patients. Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is just one of five hospitals in the state of Iowa with this accreditation, and one of only 30 Critical Hospitals nationwide.
