More details have been released on the Gladys Black Eagle Cam project. The camera will provide online streaming video relating to the eagle family structure and daily activities. Activity in the nest is expected to begin at the end of this month and will continue through January, and egg hatching will be in February. The nest being filmed has produced two eagle chicks in the past year, and the parent eagles have been in the Red Rock area for more than six years. A presentation and discussion regarding the educational opportunities will take place Thursday, November 3rd at 3pm at the Graham Center at Central College.
