New Knoxville Raceway General Manager Toby Kruse has been busy transitioning into the position. Kruse tells KNIA/KRLS News that he’s been working with current Racing Director Ralph Capitani as they get ready for the 2012 season. Kruse says that there’s been a lot going on in the preparation, and that he’s very excited to join the Knoxville Raceway team. Capitani will retire at the end of this year. John McCoy will become the Racing Director then, another role that Capitani filled. The Knoxville Raceway season is set to begin on April 14 with a practice night. Nationals will August 8-11.
