IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO FIFTEEN CALLS FOR SERVICE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TWO DOMESTICS, FOUR EXTRA PATROLS, TWO REPORTS OF LIVESTOCK IN THE ROADWAY, ONE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, TWO MOTORIST ASSISTS, ONE THEFT, ONE UNLICENSED DRIVER, ONE JUVENILE, AND ONE ACCIDENT.
THE MARION COUNTY JAIL IS CURRENTLY HOLDING TWENTY FIVE SUBJECTS,

For the second time in three seasons, the Pella boys cross country team returned to the Tulip City with a championship trophy in hand, as the Little Dutch topped the competition at Saturday’s State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge.
