It was another great offensive performance for the Mustangs Friday night, as the PCM football team stayed undefeated with a 42-6 win over Interstate-35 in Truro. PCM jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back en route to a 35-0 lead in the first quarter.

PCM was able to control the game right away and coach Greg Bonnett credits the special teams giving them the field position necessary to be successful throughout the game.

Quarterback Nate Vandewall stayed hot while filling in for the injured Joel Wiggins, and threw two touchdown passes. Hutch Burns continued to run the ball well and added three touchdowns to his already District-leading total.

After jumping out to the big lead, the PCM starters took the rest of the game off. Third-string quarterback Zach Uhlenhopp played the majority of the game and added several rushing yards to go along with a 42-yard pass play.

The Mustangs improved to 8-0 with the win, clinching the Class 2A District 8 title, and will finish their season next week against Bondurant-Farrar.
