Three area teachers participated in a Teacher Internship program sponsored by Vermeer this summer. Mark Core from Pella High School and Keith Anderson and Kevin Herdegen from Pella Christian High spent three weeks at Vermeer taking manufacturing tours,operating machinery, and doing classroom work. Vermeer has sponsored the internships since 2006 as a way to share with students the processes and possibilities at the local manufacturer.
