Last night’s performance was not what the Pella volleyball team had in mind for their final home game of the regular season, as the Lady Dutch were swept in straight sets by Norwalk. Pella battled to make each game competitive, but struggled to stay consistent, falling by the scores of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-20.

The evening also marked Senior Night for the Lady Dutch, and Katie Sunderman made sure to make her final home outing a memorable one, dishing out 13 assists, recording 13 digs, and going 21-for-21 from behind the service line with one ace. All were team bests.

She also tied for second on the team with six kills, behind only Maddy Scholten, who had seven. The loss drops the Pella volleyball team to 8-18 overall entering tournament play tomorrow in Knoxville.
