The Twin Cedars Boys Cross Country Squad finished third at the Pekin Invitational yesterday. The Sabers were led by Eric Clark who placed ninth with a time of 18:19. Coach Alan Stewart said all of the guys ran either their season best or personal best in the race and feels good about the Class 1A District coming up next week in Knoxville. On the girls side…the Sabers were led by Brittney Roby who’s eighth place finish in 17:07 was one of her best efforts of the season. Stewart adds Roby is running very well and hopes to put herself in a spot for make the state Cross Country Meet next week. The girls only had three runners and did not score any points.
