13 players from Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars were named to the Eight-Man All-District football team this week. The Saints who won the district with a nine-and-oh record earned eight spots including, Cody Alexander, Eric Brown, Ross Dawson, Trent Flescher, Jacob Hoch, Trent Kennedy, Kenneth Wadle, and Nick Williams. Twin Cedars got five players on the all-district team including, Deryk Bingham, Colton Bonnett, Dylan Roberts, Mark Rowley, and Jared Stephens. Twin Cedars went four-and-six this season and made the eight-man playoff falling in the first round to state finalist Murray.
