While the wrestling season is still a month away, the Iowa High School Athletic Association has already realsed the postseason assignments for our area teams. Knoxville for the third time in four years will host a class 3A District which will be held on February 11th. Knoxville will be joined by Pella who will move up to three-A this season plus six other area schools including Ankeny, Indianola, Des Moines East, Newton, Norwalk, and Southeast Polk. In class 2A, P-C-M will head to South Tama for the Sectional on February fourth. The Mustangs will be joined by Bondurant-Farrar, East Marshall, Grinnell, and B-C-L-U-W. In 1A Pleasantville will host a sectional with Colfax-Mingo, C-M-B, Lynnville-Sully, Tri-County, Wayne, and West Marshall joining the Trojans. Southeast Warren who shares a wrestling program with Melcher-DALLAS will head to Corning for a sectional along with Clarinda Academy, East Union, I-35, Martensdale St. Mary’s, and Mount Ayr.
