Central College’s men’s soccer program held its ground in 2011, despite having lost 2010 Iowa Conference MVP Brett McKenzie to graduation.

The Dutch finished sixth out of a loaded Iowa Conference field, compiling a 10-8-1 overall record and going 3-4-1 against league opponents. Central reached the semifinal round of the conference tournament before being knocked out by No. 14-ranked Loras College last Wednesday.

The team loses five seniors to graduation, including leading goal-scorer Jonathon Schroeder and goalkeeper David Ziemann.
