A 30-0 lead through the end of the first quarter left little doubt as to how the Pella Christian girls would fare for the rest of the evening, as the Lady Eagles trounced Albia 80-27 last night in Pella.

Hot outside shooting opened up the offense for Pella Christian, as they buried twelve three-pointers, including six from Paige Engbers; who finished with a game-high 18 points. Jasmin Schelhaas knocked down three shots of her own from beyond the arc en route to a 15-point performance; while Cory Uitermarkt and Kate Van Gilst also hit double figures with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

The win pulls the Pella Christian girls up to 1-1 on the season. The Lady Eagles are off until Friday, December 2nd, when they’ll host Roland-Story.
