Money and donations to the silent auction are already starting to come in for this season’s Knoxville Coaches vs. Cancer Fundraiser. Girls Coach Jim Utiermarkt says the T-shirt design and slogan have already been chosen and he says in the near future there will be various places in Knoxville where you can place your order. The slogan this season is “Hoops For Hope.” Utiermarkt adds that around $1,000 has already been donated to the fundraiser and around 40 items have been donated to the silent auction that will happen during the games on January 21st when the Panthers play Chariton. Last year Knoxville raised over $24,000 which was not only the largest total in the state, but was also the largest in the entire Midwest.
