The Christmas season unofficially kicked off in Knoxville Thursday night as hundreds packed the town square for living windows and the lighted parade. Children visited with Santa Claus, families took carriage rides, and many people strolled through the various businesses downtown, looking for early Christmas ideas. The Big Red Radio was on one corner of the square, helping to set the mood with Christmas music. During the lighted parade, many grinches and elves were on hand to celebrate, and the Lil Big Red Radio came through playing Christmas music. Go to to see pictures from the event.
