With the end of the 2011 high school football season it also meant the end of the current districts in classes 3A to eight-man. In February The Iowa High School Athletic Association will shuffle the districts across the state and many of our local football teams may have new opponents on their schedules. Knoxville Coach Troy Rider says it is fun to speculate who Knoxville will play. He says he does not want to even guess who the Panthers would play in the coming two seasons. He says Pella is defiantly one team that will be on the schedule whether the Little Dutch are a district or non-district opponent next season. He adds some other teams he would not mind seeing would be Chariton, Carlisle and Oskaloosa to name a few just because of the close proximity of the schools are to Knoxville.
