Pella Christian senior volleyball player Jenna Horstman will take part in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Senior All-Star Match this weekend.

The outside hitter for the Lady Eagles was third in the Little Hawkeye Conference in kills with 277, and converted on a league-best 40.7 percent of her attacks. Horstman will be on one of four teams that are comprised of senior athletes from all classes across the state.

“I’m looking forward to meeting new girls and the opportunity to play with a lot of the best players in the state,” said Horstman. “It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

The players will meet and practice together today before facing each other in a four-team tournament Saturday night in Carroll.
