This past football season was the second – and final – of the two-year cycle for football districts, which means each of our local teams will likely be facing noticeably different schedules in 2012. For Pella Christian, not only will the Eagles have a new district schedule, it’s possible that they’ll be playing in a different class.

Pella Christian Activities Director Brad Engbers says he has submitted the school’s enrollment to the Iowa High School Athletic Association, and now it’s only a matter of “wait and see” before the Eagles will know if they’ll have a classification change in 2012.
