The Pella School Board met yesterday afternoon. At last nights School Board meeting the decision was made to consolidate the District’s funds into one account. Currently Pella schools operate three separate checking accounts, and after consulting with the state and local businesses they found that consolidating the accounts into one bank had numerous advantages.

Proposals were made by three banks in Pella to handle the District’s funds. Pella School Superintendent Greg Ebeling told KNIA/KRLS that consolidation was the primary goal of the school board. Ultimately the proposal by Marion County bank was decided to be the best fit for the district and the decision was made to consolidate the funds into Marion County Bank.
