Yesterday was Black Friday, and many stores had customers come out seeking discounts. Straver’s Radio Shack in Pella had a dozen customers waiting for it to open at 5:30AM. Today is Small Business Saturday. Local business owner Mike Schuring owner of Franklin Street Clothing in Pella told KNIA/KRLS that sales looked good going into Saturday.
