Fellow students, faculty and parents left standing room only in the Pella High School auditorium Monday afternoon to celebrate the great performances by the Pella High cross country teams this past weekend. A State Championship banner and trophy for the boys team was on display, while the girls got to show off their State Qualifier and third place team trophy as well.  Afterwards, the athletes and coaches said the assembly, along with the celebration Saturday night when the team returned home, made the entire experience an unforgettable one.
