25 turnovers did in the Melcher-Dallas Girls basketball Squad last night in Wayne as the Saints fell 41-33. Amana Marlin led Melcher-Dallas with eight points however Coach John Suntken said the girls struggled to get any rhythm on offense and let Wayne have too many free possessions. He adds defense is one thing that they were pretty good at last season and will have to step that up this season. Melcher-Dallas is 0-2 on the season and will take on Moravia next week to open up Bluegrass Conference play.
