Funeral services for Vera E. Doherty, age 92, of Chariton, will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends before the service beginning at 9 AM the day of the service. Open visitation will be after 12 PM on Monday, November 21, 2011. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwood Community center.
