The Central College women’s basketball team closed the deficit to one point in the final minutes of the game, but couldn’t find the spark to retake the lead over AIB College of Business Saturday, and the Eagles handed Central a 53-50 defeat. Nicole Strasko led the Dutch scoring attack with 11 points, and AJ Baker added 10. The Central women are now 4-5 overall and take 11 days off before heading to Daytona Beach, Florida, to play a pair of non-conference games at the Land of Magic Classic.
