Christmas is coming and longstanding holiday botanical traditions such as hanging the mistletoe are right around the corner. Pat Wisse, General Manager at De Jong greenhouse in Pella tells KNIA/KRLS News that holiday plants are sold in large numbers every year, and said that they ship about 50,000 poinsettias over the holiday season. Wisse also said that proper care of holiday plants is important, and most should be watered every three days, or as needed.
