A stiff defense and a break-through performance by forward Jack Bruns helped push the Central College men’s basketball team to its sixth straight win, as the Dutch topped Augsburg 58-50 Saturday in Minneapolis.  

Bruns notched a team-best 15 points, and the Central defense limited the Auggies’ top scorer to just five points.  The Central men are now 7-1, and will take the next week off for final exams, before heading to Puerto Rico for a pair of non-conference games during the holiday break.
