The Central College women’s basketball team had two players score more than 20 points, and the Dutch snapped a three-game losing streak; rolling up an 84-76 win over Augustana Saturday.  

Central shot a season-best 51 percent from the floor, out-rebounded the Vikings 34-20, and held strong on defense in the game’s closing minutes to earn the win.  Sarah Paulson made six free throws in the last 70 seconds to finish with 23 points, while Alyssa Schwartz had 21 points to power the Dutch offense.  

The Central women are now 4-4 overall on the season, just one win away from their total number of victories a season ago.
