The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad was looking to find their second win of the season, but found a hungry Grinnell squad that was looking for its first win last night as the Panthers fell to the Tigers 55-41. Grinnell started the game on a 20-6 run and never looked back. Coach Jim Utiermarkt said the first four minutes of the game was the deciding factor. Hanna Rosenkranz led the Panthers with 15 points as Knoxville falls to 1-8 on the season and 0-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Knoxville will practice tonight…then take some time off for Christmas and get back in the gym next Monday. The next game for the Panthers is at home January sixth against Oskaloosa.
