Knoxville Hopes For More Consistant Play Friday Night

The Knoxville Girls Basketball squad will go into its game against Pella on Friday night with an 0-4 record. One of the main reasons for the oh-and-four start is inconsistent play as much of the team is very inexperienced and are playing their first varsity time in their high school careers. Coach Jim Utiermarkt has seen some progress, albeit slower than he would like. He says the new flex offense is showing signs of progress and was pleased with how it ran last Friday against Davis County. Knoxville will host Pella Friday night in the Panthers Little Hawkeye Conference opener.
