The Knoxville School Board will consider replacing the track at the high school. During their regular meeting Monday, Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack gave the board a brief synopsis of what they could expect for physical plant projects as they prepare for setting the Fiscal Year 2013 budget. Flack and Athletic Director Randy Wilson both discussed concerns about the track, including areas of rubber that can be pulled from the ground. The track has only been resurfaced twice since being built about 30 years ago. Flack says early estimates put a full renovation at anywhere from about $300,000-$500,000.
