Roland-Story snatched a pair of Heart of Iowa Conference games away from the PCM basketball teams last night, as the Mustangs fell 35-33 in the girls game, and 65-61 in the boys contest.

Abbi Gilson’s 11 points led the PCM girls in their loss, while Kelsey Townsend chipped in 8 more. The PCM girls are now 4-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

In the boys contest, the Norse got PCM standout Scott Bruxvoort in early foul trouble, and the rest of the Mustangs struggled to pick up the slack in the four-point loss.

The previously No.1-ranked PCM boys have dropped back-to-back contests and are now 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the Heart of Iowa Conference.

Both PCM basketball teams play at home on Tuesday, when they host Colfax-Mingo.
