A season-opening loss to PCM dropped the Pella Christian girls basketball team six spots in the latest Class 2A rankings, released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The Lady Eagles slide to No. 13 this week, but are 2-1 following a win last night over previously unbeaten Roland-Story.

Also worth noting: In Class 1A, nearby North Mahaska holds onto the top spot in the rankings, with local rival Lynnville-Sully remaining at No. 10.
